Interesting that Ten Haag said he got warned by the ref that Fernandes and Anthony were both getting close to second yellows, so he said he had no choice but to take them off

Losing Rashford up front is a disaster too, but you'd hope Caseimro and Eriksen will mean a bit more control in the middle.
Anthony seems like a dope. He got locked into a mini battle with Acuna that seemed to be more important than picking the right pass.
Unless he is around the box to cut in he always turns back. Really don't see him.

A lot of dead wood to clear out in fairness with Elanga, and do they cut the losses with Sancho.
Pellestri and Garnacho can be improved so worth keeping.

Comfortable and solid win, the scoreline didn't give a true reflection and all the more impressive when you consider that Forest side drew with Man City recently at home and Newcastle only beat them with 93rd minute goal. Antony as he was on Thursday was one of Uniteds stand out players.

The black spot was another two injuries on top of long injury list, Malacia unable to play with a bang on his knee and Sabitzer picked up a groin injury in the warm up.

Good win but should been more comfortable.

Bruno top class again and totally ran the show. Injuries really going to play a massive part in the run in, hopefully they arent as bad as expected and can get some depth back to the squad.

For the record I do stand over what I said about Antony. We can't hold up a good game v Forest to cancel out a lot of mediocrity.

Definitely is a work in progress, but has done well for his first season. Hopefully more to come.

If he watched Salah, making that run at the back post when the ball is crossed he would have two tap ins yesterday which Salah has done for years. Could see ETH frustrated at one of them that he hadnt anticipated and made the run, but that's all in the development of any player.
