I always find it amusing when Irish Liverpool fans have a go at United supporters who aren't from Manchester.

Poor performance. Lightweight in midfield which poses a concern. The deficiencies exposed by Barca in 2009 remain. Its only particularly disappointing because its City. The FA Cup is a poor third in terms of priorities.

That may be true but this was to be "Fergie's best season" so let's not pretend they didn't want it. The EPL is now pretty much a given but CL isn't (even with a gimme in the next round).

Well they want to win every game, particularly against City but look back to the team Fergie played against Everton in 2009. Had it not been City today I'd have expected a similar selection. Winning a treble is a once in a lifetime achievement, Fergie's managed it once and given that this side are below average in terms of the ability of his sides in the last 15 years, it was always a very long shot.
To win the League this year will be a superb achievement on its own.

"a very long shot"? Maybe in January, not when one is in the bag, and win today and you are playing a vastly inferior team in the final.

I think it was 8/1 during the week and I wouldn't have been rushing to back it at that price. I am steadfastly convinced that no other manager in the world could have gotten that United side into the position in which they currently lie this season.

As for the super injunction, some attempts at gagging the press appear futile in today's world given that you can type super injunction into twitter's search engine to find numerous confirmations of the player involved. I presume that in itself will be used as compelling justification for removal of the injunction next week.

Current odds to win EPL with Ladbrokes

Man Utd 1/7
Arsenal 11/2

So if United lose to Chelsea,Arsenal (after yesterdays result is very possible) will you return with the odds with a gleeful smile?

Oh aye I've heard it's Man United's happily married left winger (and sometime left back). There must be something in the water in OT.

You know its a bad sign when Rooney is talking you up for getting Knighted. He can kiss that goodbye but still a big ledge in my eyes  :D

In theory United could win 4, lose to Arsenal and Chelsea and get pipped on goal difference.

That's true but i feel 3 wins & a draw should do it (fingers crossed)

Only if Arsenal win all their games.  On current form Arsenal will do well to win 2 or 3 of the 6 remaining.

The Worker

I was talking to a utd fan earlier and he said he would rather have got beaten by Chelsea during the week than by City yesterday.

Would this be a common thought amongst utd fans?

Milltown Row2

Wouldn't imagine so, beating City would not really be the main thing this year, Wining 19 titles and over taking Liverpool would be the main thing first and foremost, Wining as many CL titles as Liverpool would be the next, they can keep the league cup record ;)

Plenty of time to beat City
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
