Is this a problem? It seems like the top players are having to push themselves harder every year. Is the ask too much considering they are supposed to be amateurs?

It's getting a lot harder to try and keep pace with Dublin alright. No county has warped the playing field and intensified the demands on players more than Bastick's own - and a lot of players in other counties have to travel half the country to training to boot, something barely any Dublin player has any experience of.

When a Dublin player is complaining you know the situation is brutal, they have every advantage possible.

Spending on IC prep and the number of training sessions allowed needs to be regulated and actually policed as soon as possible.
