Awful news from Mayo - Darragh Doherty RIP

Horrible news from Mayo about this young lad. Scored 1-2 in an All Ireland 2 years ago, and now his life is gone. Terrible stuff. Obviously deepest sympathies to his family, friends and everyone in Kilmaine and Mayo GAA.

Just saw there was another young lad who played with Queens and Dromintee was killed over the weekend in another car crash. Peter Hughes RIP also, another tragic loss of a young man.

South Mayo GAA have had their fill of tragedy these past couple of years. Heartbreaking that yet again they have to travel down this road. I was listening to Michael Commins on MWR last night and he was terribly shook by this latest tragedy.
