I'd say there would be time for lie in and a good breakfast

Full Irish or Ulster Fry?

An  Ulster Fry is a protestant concept.

As is all other  things relating to  the name Ulster. Except for maybe  the Ulster council/championship.

Is it? Historical linked as a meal for farm workers... but sure let's stick a label on it! Some craic this place

Life's tough when looking to be offended over the name of a fry.

I didn't say I  was offended.

It's only ever been a "fry"  to me.  Never heard anyone  around me call it anything but a fry or a  fry up.  Not a mention of Ulster .

Full Irish breakfast seems to be a  bit of  a marketing thing  as well.

Ah now, Tony....
Although my post was rage bait I actually don't mind beans with a fry. I won't apologise!

The Ulster Fry has the soda farl, potato bread which you wont find in a traditional Irish fry (who the feck has time to mix flour and mash potato in the morning). The Irish fry's unique ingredient is the white pudding, which is not endemic to English or Ulster Fry, although now copied because its so good. Beans in a fry is English. Hash browns American.

Indeed, and let him who has not enjoyed a little Irish, Scots, English fusion cast the first spud.
