Truth hurts

Quote from: KeyboardWman on July 22, 2025, 10:26:23 PMInteresting rumour that a couple of clubs changing managers over the last number of weeks. Although not sure if true, you know what rumours can be like.

I never heard this. What did you hear?

Longstone/St Johns to be replayed; abandoned due to a major fracas.

supersub

St John's down so will make no odds to them now. Stone need to win.

from the video I seen there wasn't much in it, 'minor fracas' I'd describe it as.

Aristo 60

Good for murdock getting a mention on tsg team of the year 👍

What about the leagues? Next season, Tullylish and Ballymartin will play football in division four. Two from Downpatrick, Ballyholland, and Saul are set to be demoted, while Glenn appears to be joining Bredagh in the top division. One of the most notable tales of the year has been Saul's comeback. Kilcoo, Rostrevor, and Teconnaught  are my picks to win the championships.

I can't imagine that Rostrevor and Teconnaught will both win the IFC.

Truth hurts

I assumed they were junior as they were in division 4. Would Drumaness be favourites for the junior?

LosDodgers

Longstone Drumgath a huge game next week, with Saval likely to beat St.John's its winner stays up, first game was a draw so a win for the Stone will give them the head to head and keep them up!

And Drumgath only need a draw as their head to head will be equal and the have a much better points difference

It wouldn't actually get to a point difference as a draw would leave Drumgath on 16 points and Longstone on 14 points

In Longstone

Truth hurts

A huge game in Longstone on Friday night. Drumgath have the better players but the Stone will relish home advantage. The Mourne clubs are all struggling which I do not like to see as every successful Down team have always had a strong Mourne pick.
