NFL DIV 3 FINAL..ROSCOMMON v CAVAN

[orangeman]

That last shot was 15.6 metres high.

Cavan looking different class here so far. Long time to go all the same.

[babarino]

Cúl.

Come on the Rossies!

[armaghniac]

Nicely measured goal. Was it intended?

[babarino]

Good position for the Rossies at HT.

They always play better shooting into the Canal End.

[Syferus]

Amazed to be one down after that half, really below par stuff by us. Without O'Malley's saves and Keenan's beautiful dink it would have been horrific for us.

Can't be that bad in the second half with a pretty direct wind blowing into the Canal End.

[Syferus]

Nicely measured goal. Was it intended?

Absolutely. Keenan is a man for fisting it over the bar from that range anyways and he would have put much more power on it were it an attempt at a point.

[babarino]

Cavan cynicism going unpunished. Roscommon look the better side at this point.

[thebuzz]

Cavan kicking it away. Are getting the chances.

[Aaron Boone]

Really tight this one.

[J OGorman]

Would help if the ref knew the rules!

[Aaron Boone]

Roscommon players & management genuinely happy with result at final whistle. Well done Roscommon.

[orangeman]

Well done to the Rossies. Great performance. Hard luck Cavan.

[J OGorman]

Surely. Well done the Rossies

[babarino]

Cavan had a five minute period in the 2nd half where they missed a succession of sitters. The class isn't there.

Better team won.

[Farrandeelin]

Congrats Roscommon. Freetaking was very impressive by both Shine and Kilbride in the second half. Cavan's bad misses in the last few minutes will come back to haunt them.
