Hi just wondering what people think of coaches betting on games there involved in, heard about an incident where the coach was betting large sums of money on the games he coached. is this right or wrong, does this happen in alot of counties?????????????????? or is it a one off...............

I'd be less worried about someone betting for their team than against it.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

A lot of GAA men are betting men. I'd be amazed if it's not fairly common and I can't imagine what could be done to prevent it.

I'd say it's fairly common but the bets are only done in Championship games, you would get the bookies to lay bets on league games. I'd doubt it very much if a manager would lay a bet against his own team in the championship
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

not sure which way the coach was betting but they lost all there championship games, I just find it weird that a manager would bet on a game he was involved with, but im not a betting man in general,
