Clare have put up decent performances in the qualifiers - losing to Down by a point in 2011, losing to Offaly by 1 goal AET in 2010, losing to Donegal by 1 goal in 2009.

2 potential milestones for Saturday.
Colm Cooper is just 2 points off Mikey Sheehy from being the all-time top scorer in the history of the GAA Championship.
Tomás Ó Sé will gain the record for most championship appearances with 82, overtaking his brother Darragh.

The handicap of 9 points looks about right here. If Clare can win enough ball around the middle then their full-forward line will trouble the Kerry backs. If they were able to grab a goal or two it might make it interesting for a while, but after last week Kerry have too much momentum now to lose focus in this one and allow it to remain competitive beyond 40-45 minutes.

Jack O'Connor wants a win but will also be pleading for no injuries or suspensions.

Hope I'm wrong, but this is a dream fixture for Kerry before the Quarter-finals. They will be getting a competitive run out, which will probably allow them to rest players with injury, rest players that may be tired and give a bit more championship experience to the new lads on the bench. This tie reminds me of Kerry drawing Limerick in the Quarter finals last year. There are no surprises as Kerry know their neighbours main threats.
