Big split in the Louth camp, can see this being a very one sided affair. Looks like it will be Fitzers last game.
I'm gonna show you as gently as I can how much you don't know.

I heard the story about there being only a few at training but what's the split over??

AZOffaly

The economic situation and the bank bailout, along with the prospect of possible tax increases and further cuts in public spending and services.

Whats the big Split lad??

pro and against Fitzer?
North versus South??
will to win is important the will to prepare to win is vital

PK and Fitzer had a huge row, probably told Fitzer what needed to be said. They had 5 at training recently that says it all. I'd expect Westmeath to win this comfortably, Louth didn't deserve to win the last meeting between the two teams.

Fitzer in hospital with a kidney complaint and may not make it to tomorrow nights game.

No Keenan, Carroll or even Fitzer tonight. Jim McEnaney starts in midfield.

He is getting plenty of space, nothing physical as yet. Westmeath with their first score from a free 0-1 to 0-3

Derek Fahy is the ref. he'll need an escort back to Longford it seems.

Ard-Rí

LMFM commentators setting new records for bias, I suppose no more can be expected.

Westmeath go a goal up; 1-11 to 0-11, not long left.

I had a good view of the Brennan incident.

He swung a wild elbow at Heslin 15 yards in front of the linesman. There was little if any contact but it was a deserved red. He'd already been booked as well. Completely f**king stupid thing to do.

I was following Heslin at that stage because he'd been booked a minute earlier for the wrestling match with Rooney and I was worried he'd lose the head altogether, given some of the treatment he was getting.

Dunno if he said something to Brennan or what because there was no physical provocation to warrant him lashing out the way he did.

Louth were out to wind him up all day. Rooney had a go at him and Heslin ended up being the only one booked (laughable decision), didn't see Brennans elbow and 21 was at him the whole time.  ::) Heslin has made a name for himself now (like Connolly) for being easy to wind up and he can expect more of the same in most matches. The one good thing about drawing Kerry is that they probably won't have to resort to tactics like this.

Fitzer gone. May be announced at training tonight, but he definitely wont be back.
