Extremely low key.
Points of note- strong turn around in finances.
Frankie Quinn won election to Central Council.
All recommendations sent to CCC & Football Development to consider in January.

It is my understanding that leagues will stay as they are for 2026. As clubs need to participate in the football review to determine a new structure for 2027. Aghagallon had a recommendation to this point to be agreed by 31st March. All structures for league & Championship to be undertaken by football working group.  I believe all clubs will be invited to attend initial discussions! But...with Antrim GAA...you wouldn't put your house on it !

Does this mean as per the start of 2025 or as per the end of the season and associated  promotions and relegation? Aldergrove and ahoghill into D2,us and Moneyglass into d1, Rasharkin into D3 etc?

Galway's Kilkerrin-Clonberne will aim for a remarkable fifth consecutive title against first-time finalists St Ergnat's Moneyglass.
However, the match's throw-in is scheduled for 4pm – the exact time TG4 begins its coverage of Junior Eurovision.
Because of this clash, the game will not air live on the Irish language broadcaster's main television channel, but will instead be streamed in real time on both the TG4 Player and the station's YouTube channel.
TG4 will carry a deferred television broadcast of the senior final later on Saturday evening at 8.10pm.

We are putting the senior final on two platforms... it will go out on the TG4 Sport YouTube channel and the TG4 Player, and both will carry it worldwide, so we're doing everything we can to make it widely accessible," he said.
This weekend also brings the curtain down on the club camogie season.
Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie final, featuring St Finbarr's of Cork and Athenry of Galway, will be broadcast live on RTÉ2, with throw-in at 4.15pm.

As a convention report not a planning g document seemed ok to take a minute to say well done for all the effort (there Isn't a queue of people to do the roles nor a crowd applauding those who do)

I thought it was a straightforward enough document and was clear on a lot to do and focused on the positives around secondary school work/officers etc

For adult club level 2 main points. No change in championship structure "without significant consultation", maybe football reserve sides might play in the main leagues and to be assessed in Jan review.

Na Glinntí Glasa

Worked well this year for the hurling for the sides that went into Div 3/4.

The reserve hurling league had been dead for years with next to no games being played so this year its seen the reserve teams play loads of good competitive matches.

The clubs were all able to work the fixtures and the panels for each game even if both sides weren't at home/away at the same time.

Spike

what is the thinking in refusing to allow reserve sides into the main leagues?

Round or stuffed

What happens in the case of intermediate championship, there was no relegation play off for the second year in a row, are Gort na mona relegated. if so, who replaces them as st. agnes' won both league and championship, Pearses beaten finalists but finished 5th in Division 3 league, are they capable of competing at that level, Laochra finished 2nd in the league but won 1 championship match and finished third in the group. what is the answer there

A lot more reserve football than hurling sides. Potentially over loading both pitches and referees. Youd need extra leagues obviously(think there were 5 or 6 at a time). If you played Div 1 2 and 3 on a Sunday for example and 4 5 6 on a friday night(reserve night) there would be crys from division 4 teams who come up against a lad who played 20 mins of div 1 football the previous week

I was under the impression Gort were down as Rasharkin were relegated already before finishing bottom of the group

so who is promoted, we had the same situation last year where only one came up and one went down
