Countries which have had military interference from the USA in the last 30 years:

(Some may have been for the right reasons, plenty for completely unjustifiable reasons. I'm not seeking a fight with Tyrone's Own or anyone else, it's just an interesting list)

Seriously though, isn't the topic a little leading when it says 'military interference'. How many countries have the UN had 'Military Interference' in.

Not defending the US by the way, I think some of their foreign policies are disgusting, however there are situations when the biggest military power on the planet can be used for good.

Well I put in "military interference". The thread on politics.ie says "countries attacked by the USA". Thought if I put that in, I'd be asking for a heated debate on the ins and outs of each "attack", which I'm not. It's just an interesting list due to it's size, that's all.

It certainly is interesting, it's obvious they've been pretty busy these last 30 years. I just think it's pretty obvious where the original author stands.

Pity they didnt know about the oil in Mayo earlier. We could have had the English out years ago.

Some dupilication of countries there... Sierra Leon, Iran, East Timor, Panama, Liberia, Bosnia, Libya, Honduras, Somalia, Iraq, Macedonia, Georgia, Haiti, Persian Gulf (is that a country?) and YEMEN!

It is alright! Though I'd say he has a point for more than just a few of them mind you!

Aye it probably makes the list look a lot longer but it's just done in chronological order just

With great power comes great responsibility. One of the arguments TO makes is that we criticise the US for everything they get wrong and don't apply the same standards to others. I think its a fair point but I also think it is correct that we judge the US by higher standards than most.
