Any thoughts on Steve McClaren appointment. I actually think he will do ok for us. he was never experienced enough or good enough for the England job. That said he done well in Holland, so hopefully he will bring that form to the City Ground. The pressure will be on tho, as nothing less than promotion will suffice. 1999 since we last played in the top flight!!

McClaren has a good club record, and as forest are a club, it's a great appointment in my eyes.
He took FC Twente Enschede to a Dutch title in his second year. He took Middlesboro to a UEFA Cup Final. Was he manager when Boro won the Carling Cup ?

Forest win 4-3 on pens. 3 -3 draw AET.  Doesnt really bode well for this season if truth be told.

left it very f**king late in ET, and county had a pen to win it too.

Watched it as it was streamed, we were all over Forest for the first 20 minutes then Forest got back into it. Great free kick from McGugan. All over forest again for the 2nd half and 1st half of ET. Forest had the better of the 2nd half of ET but where the ref. got 3 minutes of added time at the end i dont know and it was another wonder/fluke strike from Morgan.

Gutted just gutted.
