Apart from zoos, where else on this island would you find a kangaroo?

That's what I was thinking too! There was obviously alot of planning put into getting the kangaroo to that party which makes it even more disturbing!

Circuses or less likely a private collector.

Funny you should mention a Circus, there are two of them in Lucan at the moment which would only be 5 mins from Liffey Valley

I fcking read this and the first thing i feel is shame, ashamed to be irish, i see so many moronic dickheads thinking ah sure this is great craic at the expense of someone or something else, the poor animal in this case, hope its still alive, the lack of conscience and consequences among us sickens me.

I love animals, and have a pet dog who is part of the family, cant stand people who think this is funny, the cat video sickened me aswell.

Knew I heard about a Kangaroo at a Circus not so long ago.

Circus Kangaroo Escapes in Ireland
July 20, 2006
People in Ireland are on the lookout for "Hoppy." The Kangaroo was due to perform at a circus but he broke loose and is now roaming the green hills of Ireland. Circus staff conducted a fruitless four-hour search. But they're not too concerned they say the runaway roo should have plenty of grass and water. And Ireland's near-record temperatures right now make it feel just like Australia.

2006 is mentioned in the link.  A kangaroo seems like a strange animal to have at a circus, to me as I was under the impression they couldn't be trained

I meant to say Circus in my description.

I know its probably not done now, but they used to get them box many years back. I think small ones (which can not do as much hard) can be used to box clowns. Also some circus have a petting section these days as far as I understand.

I can't remember ever going to a circus in my life so I'm no expert! But I'd be fairly confident that most circuses didnt have small kangaroos boxing clowns! I do stand to be corrected on this!

You Barbarians, how could anyone treat an animal so badly. Imagine having to attend a party with drunk people from Clondalkin. Oh the horror, I would rather die.
