Poor aul Graham Reilly is long forgotten. Probably won't come near the final reckoning, but there were very few, if any, more prolific half forwards this summer.

Without trying to be biased Geoffrey Claffey should have been mentioned in the goalkeepers

Thats like when my Mother says to me, "im not giving out to ya, but your room is mess"

In all fairness to Kevin Walsh, he mentioned the Sligo lads which i think O Donnell would do the same as any other manager would aswell.

I wouldn't get too wound up about it. It's a stupid magazine topic thrown together by broadcasters who copy a formula made popular by reality TV.

Gooch was rubbish this year???????
In what games?

I still think Cluxton was the best keeper.

I think he taken off against Down (even though I thought he was playing well)? Think I remember having a bit of a giggle when he didn't make it to the last 15 minutes, mustn't have had his lucozade.

Louth Exile

Firstly, great to see Paddy getting the nod. Despite some idiotic comments by one of the Armagh posters he is there 100% merit. Now hopefully he'll also be picked for the International Rules (how Boylan ignored him is beyond me) and get an all star. Galvin is not far off getting the nod for one of those midfield spots either though!

Both Mc Veigh and Cluxton are ahead of Quirke, Sligo unlucky not to have anyone on the team, wouldn't have Mc Mahon in there myself. John Doyle is definitely the stand out ommission, but also Coulter and James Kavanagh should be in the running as well.

True we should all wait until the All-Stars

Well I'm glad someone said it.
Seems like nobody wants a scoring half-forward nowadays.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

I take it you are joking?
There are no proofs, only opinions.

think this has been going for years, long before reality tv became popular in 2000 - no?

Also, Gooch wasn't rubbish against Down, did he not set up all the goal chances at the end?

Orangemac

Not having a go at Keenan Louth exile. He played well in the Louth games I saw and I was as gutted as anyone outside Louth when Sheridan "scored" that goal.

Just think the likes of Galvin would be ahead of Keenan and there will be a sentiment element to the vote when it comes to the All Stars.

Didn't Peter Canavan win one in 2005 when Brian McGuigan didn't?

thewobbler

I think Zap is confusing Gooch with Rooney. Or else just having a good laugh to himself.

aye, probably right - bed time

SLIGONIAN

Id have Galvin and Keenan midfield, 2 warriors.

If coulter doesnt get an all star this yr he'll never get one. Should though imo.
