You'd be better to stick with the more moderate 'sensitivity' defense of ypur position.

Although you've still to present evidence of ties to terrorism, beyond the appalling sin of belonging to a different sect of the same religion as some terrorists. Which simply is not a defensible position as to why they shouldn't get to build the mosque, any more than your presumed catholicism links you to these eejits.

This reminds me of the news images of Palestinians burning the US flag immediately after 911. Those images were file images from years earlier but the propaganda opportunity was too great to miss by the likes of Murdock and co.

What did Palestinians doing anything have to do with a group of Saudis attacking the World Trade Centre? All the stations showed Palestinians celebrating, which is likely to have happened given who bankrolls the F-16s etc., but the images of the flags burning were archives.

Note the flag burning, which was the most inflammatory, no longer appears in the reports.

So much was made out of the flag burning lies, while so little was said about the 5 Israeli's, some of whom were Mossad agents, who were caught videoing the events on 911 as they happened. Their excuse was:
"We were there to document the event".................................
