I don't disagree, but the way the rte boys are talking (in fact they've just said the spanish didn't committ a cynical foul in the game) you'd think the spanish were totally blameless.  They set out a relatively defensive lineup and anytime a dutch player looked like breaking the line, he was taken out of it just like the dutch did.

Nope, technically he wasn't in that cycle of play (even though he was ahead of the last defender) -- he wasn't 'interfering with play'; ergo perfectly legit goal.

I'm not saying that at all, i'm saying i can't understand the shite that's being talked about the whiter than white spanish.  Last Euros they would have been accurate, this time round, bar the second half against germany, spain have been pretty defensive and have not played well at all.
They scored 9 goals in 7 games, have won their last 4 games 1-0, hardly swashbuckling stuff.
