Fair play to him indeed. I always wondered did he regret leaving Everton to go to be a complete failure at RM.

Is there anywhere I could see how much Liverpool spent on transfers over the last 10 years

He'd have regretted not giving it a go when Real Madrid came knocking. I'm sure the increase in wages offset any footballing regrets he had.

Read somewhere that they are 3rd in terms of money spent behind City and Chelsea. Shocking when you think of it!!

Looking at his current squeeze I'd say he's happy he moved there too.
He was a scary looking lad at times

Can/Will we win tonight lads?
First time in nearly 21 years.

The lads on Toffeeweb are very optimistic.
I think Davey is bricking it cos if he loses to us tonight it looks bad for him

Also, how far is Timmy gonna let his beard grow? It sure looks funny with him being bald.
I can't recall any other players having such a long beard even back in the day

Martinez needs to go hard early on and unsettle Utd as they're confidence isn't great, allowing them time and possession and hoping to hit on the counter attack won't work IMO.

I think it'll be a 2-2 draw and that'll do nicely, but a win is not beyond them.

Ha ya have to laugh, a draw for a Pool man would have been best result I'd say ;)
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

brilliant win. great to see the look on moyes face at the end.  ;D ;D

Apparently so

Always said Martinez was a brilliant manager. Doing brilliant while playing very good football. Good to see both Merseyside clubs doing well and playing good football

Great win and whilst Manu had a good few chances, so did Everton, it wasn't the normal case of holding on for grim death and hoping for a corner or something to score from.

I think Martinez is doing well with the good footballers he inherited, I'll reserve judgement until he's to go and get a replacement for Distin who's touching 35 IIRC. Moyes rarely bought a bad defender apart from the lad who couldn't head the ball from Denmark..
