Can any of you posters from the states suggest any good talk radio stations that i could listen to. I have googled a few but with very little luck as they see to be full of ads.

As in right wing talk radio?

If so, try WABC out of New York City. They carry all the main ones  (Limbaugh, Hannity, Imus, Ingraham, and for the conspiracy theorist, late night Coast to Coast).
