How much the version 2 with the live streaming? Can the original one be upgraded?

Veo do introductory offers all the time but you are usually looking at about 1500 first time set up cost and around 700 a year after that I think.

They have just launched a two iPhone solution for about £500 with annual costs of around £350. I haven't had a chance to test it yet but should get my hands on it for pre season.

Onto version 3 at the minute. Version 1 is no longer supported and can't be upgraded. Version 2 isn't for sale any longer but is still supported.

I assume version 4 is on the way soon as I'm getting one to test later this week.

David do you know if there is anything going on in the background to meet whatever requirements the GAA have to allow VEO recording of underage games?

I work in the testing team so this may not be accurate but I don't know of anything specific to GAA.

However I am aware that a number of youth football leagues have raised this issue. The problem is that as far as the UK and the North is concerned, the position adopted by the leagues is simply not correct. In UK law there is no expectation of privacy whilst outdoors (with limited exceptions) therefore this isn't an issue. Last time I spoke with the higher ups they were taking legal advice (not from me) and were considering challenging the bans as amounting to unlawful restraint of trade/abuse of a dominant position.

I'll see if I can get any update this week as I have meeting on Thursday with some of the executives although they may be reluctant to tell me.

Thanks David. The information received by clubs from Croke Park was that it related to data protection/storage and can only be used for over 18s.

I'm not sure on the law in the South so I can't comment if that's accurate or not but there's no requirement in the North.
