GAA clubs ban players from playing other sports

In recent times Slaughtneil have won titles in both codes in Derry within 4 years (Hurling 2000, Football 2004).

Before that Dungiven won Senior Hurling 1996 and 1998 but won the Derry and Ulster Football Championship in 1997. There were a number of dual players on both the Dungiven and Slaughtneil teams at the time.

I'd say were/are the only proper Dual clubs in Ulster (Slaughtneil werent as good in the ulster championship)
Only Antrim might offer a suitable candidate

There are hundreds of dual clubs in Ireland and I think they are all to be congratulated on attempting to promote both codes. The problem isn't success or lack there of, but in the day to day running of dual clubs. In order for it to be truly successful you need mature, intelligent people who put the club before any one code, unfortunately that rarely happens and many people volunteering in dual clubs barely speak. I'd hate to think that any dual clubs would attempt to become a single code club but I wouldn't advise any single code club to become a dual club.

a lot more conflicts between football and hurling within clubs and competition for the same players\its not easy these days being a dual player
