Yes they got beat by UUJ but they were already through. My source was dissaponted in Gormley funny. Thought he was a bit lazy at times. Did CJ get player of the tournament

Why was Sean Cavanagh not playing?  You would fancy the Moy to beat St Gall's if they had their best available.  Not many teams could compete with a club seven's side including Philly Jordan, Ryan Mellon, Colm and Sean Cavanagh.

StGalls play alot of sevens so Moy even with Cavanagh wouldhave struggled. ST Gallshammered Castlwellan, a team who Moy apparetly struggled to beat. Would Ryan mellonbe a good sevens player?

Apparently Jordan is a great 7's player -

Have watched colm cavanagh in the university games, to me he a poor poor imitation of the brother. NO pace and a bit timid, have i got the wrong impression??

Sean had exam commitments but should be available for Kilmacud.

Moy did not struggle to beat Castlewellan because we did not play them!!  We were due to meet them in the semi-final but Kilcoo and Dessie Slater denied us that opportunity by getting us thrown out of the competition.  And, yes, Ryan Mellon is a very good sevens player.

I know that I should not respond to such a lazy and ignorant comment - but I cannot resist!  Not only has poor NAG got the wrong impression of Colm Cavanagh, it is quite obvious that this follower of university games would not know a good footballer if one came up and kicked him in the arse.  To describe Colm as being a bit timid is like describing Mick Lyons as being a bit soft.  You could not be more wrong, NAG.  I suggest you stick to the books and leave the football to others.

I thought he only turned up for one University game?? - Ah...back to that old argument!!  ;D

I think you should go back to the books actually, I asked the question from the games I saw of him, which I admitted to being limited to the University games. From watching him there he failed to impress me at all, playing in the sigerson he looked completely out of his depth and actually contributed to Queens going on to win the competition by giving the ball away at crucial parts of the game for UUJ.

Less of the attidue when a genuine question is being posed!
