In no particular order Powers bar on Kilburn high street, used to be known as the coal bunker, also The Kingdom bar again on Kilburn high street, I honk I know the madhouse in Willeseden as well, same side of the street as the tube station & about 5 mins walk? I used to get ahem herbs from a west indian gentleman in that establishment many moons ago
Subbie, was it the Coal Pits ? Or maybe that was it's nickname. The c**k and Biddy Mulligans were lively spots back in the day on the High Road. However, in the relatively nice Tuffnell Park there was a pub near the Tube Station ( not the TP Tavern) that used to employ a full-time Glazier.
Some of the Clones bars would give them all a run for their money

You could be right, it was coal something anyway I do remember that, it's called powers bar now and whilst the name has changed the clients who imbibe there have not, ask too many questions in this joint and your likely to get a good hiding!!!

Jaysus Subbie, seems you've been in a right few dives in your time. Not too many kips in an around Monaghan?

Worst and roughest pub I was ever in was the Grange on the Gallowgate in Glasgow behind Celtic Park.

It was safer to go outside for a pish !!!

Buckfast and cans of Tennents served through a hatch between rolls of chicken wire. J

aysus that was a rough kip. Still standing but long closed....

Cowboys from Transa, The Cash, The Gate, Aghagallon etc met every weekend to do three things: drink, curt and fight.
