Porridge in winter, Weetabix in summer.

Lately - in the past month - I've been spooning some of this tack into either: http://www.linwoods.co.uk/en/super_food.php?cat=2#prod2

Meant to be good for you, I said I'd give it a shot. It goes down grand but, while it looks fine in the Weetabix, when you take your porridge out of the microwave it looks like an elf has puked in it. Tiny diced carrots.

Fire it back all the same though.
Have wondered about this stuff. See the stuff lined up in Woods' shop (Linwoods owner) but not sure of the value of these goji berries etc on my cereal. Especially as the packets are a fiver a throw!

Goji me arse.

A seagull's breakfast for me - a drink of water and a look around.

At uni it was cornflakes if there was any.

though took a notion to try half a dozen hobnobs broken in milk and it was pretty nice. as long as there aren't too many crumbs

porridge made with water then add a splash of milk and a handful of berries hands down. would take muesli during the summer the odd time if i get fed up of porridge. as one of the earlier posters said most commercial cereals are a waste of time and you would be wiser eating the packet.

anyone find that sugar puffs make your pee smell funny?

thank christ for this man, and paco.  Tis very very true.  However, i find it rather disconcerting when, on very odd occasions, the old pee smells o sugar puffs, and i havent eaten the things in months!!

Riddle me that...

Wee Shea

Used to eat Alpen but recently I have been eating those Jordan's breakfasts, they are expensive and you only get about 4.5 bowls out of a box but they are delicious.

BigMac

Getting through a 750g box of All Bran a week. First few mouth fulls dont taste great but fine after that. Bit nicer if left to soak in the milk for a few minutes as well. Eat it with just milk, no sugar. Serious job for doin what its best known for!

Lazer

Cornflakes and weetabix

I have my breakfast in work - Once the weetabix is finished I replace it with Cornflakes and vice versa
Down for Sam!

weetabix with warm milk, can't be beat..

Onion Bag

Hats, Flags and Head Bands!

It's all things plain and simple for me.
A couple of pawfuls of dry muesli followed by a drink of water and maybe a banana or an apple and I'm set up for the day.
Honestly, ya could kick start Jumbos after that!

Weetabix. The only man.

I never got this thing of eating cereal with warm milk, although now that you mention it when I was a lot younger I would be fed Farley's Rusks with warm milk.  That was hard to beat.

For the sweeter taste my favourite would be Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes.  I once had a GF who'd feed me them in bed in the morning when I was at her house.  She knew the way to my heart! Can't get them here though, looking forward to them next time I'm home.

I doubt there is anyone under the age of 50 who eats porridge.
