Yes have the San Siro tour its good. If you have the time get the Euro Star train to Venice and have the day there, its about 2 1/2 hours on train so maybe a stay over would be ideal but def worth seeing and the trains are not that expensive.
The underground is good 1 Euro takes you everywhere you want to go (unless i was not paying for all my journey's)
I can swim a little but i can't fly an inch

Thanks Illdecide ... I've done Venice - and very nice it was.... Padua seems to be a good spot yoo if you like Roman amplitheatres and history ... slightly closer.

Any tips on hotels?

Would prefer one close to the San Siro as you can guarantee that getting back to the City centre after the game will be a nightmare. It also MUST have a bar. It's the company I keep.

serving of alcohol is banned on matchdays in all italian cities where one of the teams is british, german or dutch afaik - i'm not sure, but i think there are no exceptions (possibly wine with a meal is allowed) - that's what i've been told anyway by some very disappointed mates who were in Milan for the liverpool game 2 years ago.
