The routine 5-0 for Arsenal after dumping the bed against the big boys. Their football is notch above Stoke tactics.

Dumping the bed. Narrative much.

New signings are all fitting in fairly well so far. While one would still question Arteta and his cautious approach to certain games they should still be aiming for around 85 points this season to mount a proper title challenge.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

ONeill

Madueke has been a pleasant surprise. Confidence seems to be up.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Stupendous level of depth, >22 internationals vying for 11 places, 1 goal conceded season to date

I still fear the pragmatist in Arteta but heck if thats the way he wants to play it then no harm done, was plenty good enough for George Graham so its good enough for me, Gyökeres to reprise the Alan Smith role and win a league title built on flick ons and second balls would be lovely - in all seriousness they are a formidable team at the moment playing some great stuff

I would agree they are formidable based on the best defence in Europe, but playing great stuff wouldn't be too sure on.  Liverpool were there for the taking at Anfield Arteta was too cautious and ended up with nothing anyway.

He was cautious but they imposed themselves at Anfield like very few teams can or have in recent years, only yer man shanked one from the heavens it ends 0-0 or maybe Arsenal nip it at the other end with a shank of their own, there's always the return leg to zero the head to head points deficit, be interesting to see how Liverpool play it at the Emirates, cautious surely 🤷♂️

Last season under Slot was an exciting 2-2 draw from memory.

It was good enough under Graham because he led the club to a couple of league titles, handful of domestic cups and European trophy.

It certainly won't be enough if Arsenal under Arteta go five consecutive seasons without winning a trophy.

Arsenal have serious strength in depth this year...at least 2 very good players for each position. When everyone is fit I don't know how they keep everyone happy, up front especially...Gyokeres, Jesus, Havertz, Saka, Madueke, Eze, Trossard, Martinelli and the 2 young bucks
