Anyone know of a free way to use Microsoft Word 2007 - It's asking me for a 25 digit product key..

Don't want to use any other alternative software really.

You might want to look at the Torrents thread.

I got a good copy of MS Office 2007 downloaded. There was no serial key with it though, was already cracked with product key in it. A quick google can find you a prodcut key.

I currently use Internet Explorer 7 and am being asked to upgrade to IE 8; any observations? I know some people don't rate Internet Explorer, preferring Firefox, but I've been using it for years and find it dead on.
Regular defragmenting is useful for the smooth running of your laptop.

IE 8 is fine now - the beta version was awful. Like most Microsoft Products it takes them a while to get it right

:D Fine in what sense, for surfing the web maybe for using with an application. it's more than likely unsupported.

Only by lazy developers

On the contary Microsoft try to bulldoze these new versions out without any consultation; rather than lazy developers it would take a genius to try and by pass all the additional shite they brought in with this flaky effort.
