I'm assuming he's bemoaning the consequences for the GAA and the future of the games of the namby-pamby way kids are being reared these days and of the negative habits they pick up from watching the wrong type of shyte on TV. I think he's worried about the mé féin, litigious culture espoused by their parents and what it will mean for the willingness of people to volunteer to coach kids, etc.
