ah does it get better than this last 2 weeks have been beautiful managed to get a fair bit of miles on the bike , just wondering any other bikers out there. Now i must admit don't use me bike often only when the sun it splitting the rocks however this weather is made for them long may it continue . Went to clifden the other week through leenane and westport the scenery  is absolutely unreal as the unbelievables said "it would be a great little country is we could put a roof on it". Any of ye know any nice places to bring the bike on a weekend?

i have a 650 dragstar LM  its a nice bike imo. It has power if i need it but to tell you the truth i just go at a nice leisurely pace on it, ye i love the dragstars i had a 250 dragstar a few years ago lovely bike to learn on looks big but its not heavy at all. Yamaha don't make the 250's any more but if you look at carzone.ie you could pick up a 2002 for between 2500 and 3000.  It would be an nice day for a spin in North Mayo today

The scenery is unreal alright. I assume you went Westport - Murrisk - Louisburgh - Delphi Valley - Leenane - Clifden.  The views you get down through Delphi and along by Killary Harbour are as good as you will get anywhere in the world IMO (on a nice day!).
