4) Won the South Belfast seat at Westminster elections
5) Outted Gerry Fit
6) Achieved more in the Sunningdale Agreement in 1973 than the nationalist community have been left with after 34 more years of conflict
7) Never introduced water rates having said they wouldn't.
Came 4th in the Republic's Presedential election when there were only 3 candidates. (More spoiled votes went to Dustin the Turkey than went to poor Austin)

I would give point one to John Hume, seeing as he had to talk to SF on his own with almost no help from his party and vehement opposition from some of the other biggest players in the SDLP.
