We're going to see a lot more of this sort of thing...

 Is that the señor championship?

I'm dreadfully sorry for that pun.

I think the keeper and all those defenders make it look easy more than señor gaélico.

It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

The next round of the Swiss-Italian Region is this Saturday in Rome, where a Tyrone man is driving the show. He's on this video explaining how he went from 'Castlederg to the Colosseum'.. http://www.hoganstand.com/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=192190 and btw the Scholar's Lounge IS the best pub in Rome, run by a Wexford fella.

Iberian championship action
Is it a point ... or is it a goal? No crossbar, rugby posts ... maybe! No umpires! And those nets .... Nevertheless, fair play to the boys in sunny Spain ... enjoying the craic and helping make gaelic football a global game.

When we played our games in Kezar Stadium in San Francisco we used to wheel the soccer goals under the American football posts and attach hurling nets to the soccer goals.  The American crossbar is about a foot higher than the soccer one, so if the ball ever hit the top crossbar it counted as a point.

There's a bit of crossbar fixing here from today in Rome at the Roma Rugby Club for a brilliant GAA day in THE SUN - https://vimeo.com/66467097
