Anyone else use this to support GAA Clubs/Counties? Am currently supporting clubs in Louth,Down and Armagh of course,by entering their weekly lotteries via the above website, and received a cheque in the post tiday from one club for getting three numbers in their draw a week or two ago.Was feeling chuffed with cheque for £20 until I found out that all four numbers would have paid damn near £3000!

Still it's a great way of supporting GAA

i know Dromintee and Silverbridge are on it from armagh!! with the amount of people working overseas its a great job!

Contributing to both clubs.Great job, usually a tenner buys you multiple entries. Can't understand why more clubs and County Boards don't use it.

Is this thread just an excuse for you to tell us you've won something again?

what sort of fee or cut do the website take for providing the service?
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Dont know, it must be levied on the clubs. Usually each participating body has offers like get 7 weeks entries and pay for 5 etc. No additional fees levied on players, and the results og each lotto you enter are emailed to you every week (allowing you to compare yiur numbers, which are included in email against winning numbers). Check it out.www.locallotto.ie

Hi, we have indeed started using this and thanks Tony for your support.

For those asking, the company gets 20 percent, eg 20p from every ticket we sell.

It's a venture you need to have patience with because people like doing their ticket, but it you promote it properly - which we aim to do in 2013 - you could do very well out of it, especially if you have many oversea members.

I'd certainly recommend it.

Oh, and if anyone would like to support us we would appreciate it greatly - £1 a ticket and jackpot is now over £5,000

The address is http://www.drominteegac.com and you'll see the lotto on the right hand side.

Thanks.

20% is a hefty chunk of commission, but if it substantially increases the uptake then it's worth it.
