Films I have seen recently:

Zombieland - really enjoyed it. Woody Harrelson great as usual, brilliant camoe from Sir Bill and Emma Stone is a roide.

The Assassination Of Jesse James - Normally I don't like Brad Pitt but this was good, if a bit slow.

Law Abiding Citizen - Decent enough thriller, bit far fetched at times and could have been a lot better in my book if the ending was different.

Downfall - Great show, the fella who plays Hitler was brilliant.

I thought this was a class show....havent seen it in years mind you so not sure what I'd think of it now, but I thought it was very good the first time I saw it.

I saw The Hangover the other night...average enough IMO.
I also saw The Condemned, with Stone Cold Steve Austin....pure pish.

Has this been the worst Christmas ever for tv movies? There's hardly been one worth watching.

Gonna get a DVD out tonight, can't be arsed reading through the last few pages. Any recommendations?

Aye saw the Hangover in the last week, very funny some great quotes and scenes in it.

Inglorious Basterds was very good but you had to hang in there, slow moving in parts...  Will enjoy it a lot more the second time around

Movies on TV at Christmas never have the same appeal as when you were younger - the older you get the more you see, so very few of the movies you will be seeing for the first time....

But the best to watch on tv are the golden oldies, like Where Eagles Dare yesterday, a few John Wayne classic... still waiting on Von Ryan's Express to come on though  :-\

Thought Zombieland was much better... Shaun of the Dead was alright but didn't make me laugh as much and certainly wasn't as well put together as Zombieland!

went to see this yesterday too. Definately enjoyed it. Some good action seems and I thought Robert Downey jnr was quite good in it alright. Set up for part two and I'll cerainly want to see a second.

I've watched a few films recently. Watched "awake" last night and thought it was pure dung. Awful altogether.
I've just finished watching Fargo. Quality... Feck I laughed at him putting the foot through the chipper
