A super transfer window for Liverpool. However I thought things might go wrong when Guehi dropped out and we still hadn't signed Isak. Thankfully Isak came through in the end. Things are looking very good for Liverpool.

Not great at all from Palace to backtrack so late when the player had basically packed his bags and made a goodbye video!  Think Liverpool should be ok at centre back until January unless there is a lot of bad luck but wouldn't want to be holding out to the summer.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Liverpool waited 1/2 days before end of the window to bid for Guehi but didn't leave enough time for Palace to get a replacement in - The self-entitlement of Liverpool fans is baffling.

Palace had the Brighton fella coming in but then West Ham stole him in the last hour - Are Palace just supposed to have no CBs to appease Liverpool?

quit yo jibbajabba

Im going to guess Palace had a fair idea he wanted to move and had all summer to sort

How's it self entitled?   I thought Liverpool had made an earlier bid than the weekend but could be wrong. There would have been ongoing discussion between the clubs for a good while regardless of whether a bid was submitted. Either way Palace knew for months it was a real possibility they would have to sell him this summer. Steve Parish said as much publicly weeks ago.   Just find it odd why clubs won't have more cover lined up.  The Brighton deal sounded a bit precarious for them.

Yes.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Self entitled because there has been months of crying about Madrid taking Trent but Scousers doing as bad/worse than Madrid with tapping up tactics.

Nope never made a bid until two days ago, Guehi was told he could leave once they got a fair bid but Liverpool didn't move till weekend.. Palace wanted Gomez as a replacement but Liverpool wouldn't let him go. (Liverpool own fault didn't get Guehi then)

Palace tried to get Pavlovic from Milan but they couldn't get a replacement as ironically enough Liverpool wouldn't sell Gomez who Milan wanted.

No harm but I wouldn't part with Gomez either unless we were getting crazy money. Can play all across the back 4, we'd essentially have to buy two players to replace him (a CB and a guy who can play both FB positions).

Still have a Prem winning CB pairing but just need to pray there are no injuries. Leoni will get a good bit of playing time now you would've thought

Spent £500m but it's disappointing

Are we just making numbers up now? Why not £1bn

Puckoon

As has always been the case, when the best players in the PL agree to join you - you have it sewn up. Liverpool will have the league won in March I am sure, particularly if Isak hits form. Szoboszlai was super at full back on Sunday. Kerkez had a great game as well - even when Arsenal were on top in the first half.

All over bar the shouting.

Maldini hasn't covered rounding in the key stage 3 syllabus yet.

Do all Liverpool fans suffer from this odd illness whereby they're unwilling to acknowledge the magnitude of their spending?

The 3 biggest purchases of the summer are all at Anfield.

Whether you like to hear it or not, they're buying the title, just like City before them.

Would it have been okay to spread this summer spending over say the last few seasons?

From the Bunker

Liverpool received a total of £174.9m in prize money for winning the Premier League in 2024-25.

After recording seven wins out of eight games, Liverpool got at least €100million (£83.8m; $104m) in Champions League prize money.

Liverpool earn between £3m and £4m for each home game which is £57m to £76m a season.

Total sales over the summer €229.5m

Liverpool is a well run club.  ;D
