Quote from: Duine Inteacht Eile on July 24, 2025, 01:53:46 PMAwk now, people like the whole celebration of lifting the cup etc. I mean, I recall a lot of huffing & puffing on social media when it wasn't presented one year.

And you think the current chairman treats the SW any better?

Would ye whist

Honestly, no. It is clear the CB is still being run by the LD contingent

Indeed, much the same as every other club. If Would Ye Whists club won it there'd be more celebrations than any believe me  ;D

He seems to have a different opinion than you on which club he is from.

Quote from: Would ye whist on July 24, 2025, 01:45:35 PMCreggan looked like they enjoyed that victory last night, to be honest I expected them to take the cup and slip back to the changing rooms without reems of photos, perhaps it shows their realistic ambition for the season

How dare they celebrate winning one of two possible competitions

Anything else you would like to talk about apart from that 6 letter word?  Ironically most of your intermittent but valued contributions are all about......C*&$%n

YoungSaff

the betting odds are interesting for the senior and intermediate championship I see toals have released

last I checked St Brides 10/3 , Creggan 7/1

Sarsfields 7/1 for intermediate

Saffrongael

Where did you see the intermediate odds?
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

New here.

Anybody able to give an explainer of the Club Championship in relation to relegation?

Does failure to win a group game put you into a relegation play off?

Does this result in relegation from the senior Championship or does it affect Division 1 status?

I had a look on the County website but no joy.

belfastsaff

bottom team from the 4 championship groups go into a relegation play off just like the senior league was meant to be until Ahoghill volunteered to go down.
