Gerry O'Neill former Armagh Senior Football manager. Was manager when Armagh reached the 1977 All-Ireland final

He led Armagh to win two Ulster Championships as well.

Rest in Peace. Gerry best known to us in Ros for running out and shouting something at Dermot Earley as he was taking a 50, last kick of the game, that would have put Ros in the 1977 All-Ireland. In fairness Dermot said it wasn't the reason he missed. Armagh won the replay. It was a great rivalry back then.

He taught me Irish, though sometimes discussion in the class meandered into football talk.
