Wouldn't be well thought of round Ardboe over the past few years with the way he handled their Senior team with the double jobbing. At County level he had the likes of Mark Bradley, Darren McCurry, Ronan O'Neill and Conor McAliskey all available to him at the peak of their powers and had them all leaving the panel at various junctures because he couldn't fit them into his defensive counter attacking running game system.

Do you realise that he wasn't the manager, someone tell him  quickly, he was the coach.

Must have became manager later... was giving the talks at full time and half-time of extra-time to Derry players while Harte stood scratching his head.

I would argue that RON never peaked he was an exceptional underage player much like Coney and Mulgrew who didn't materialise into the player he should have.Had a decent career overall but didn't turn into the player he could have imo.

Would any of those players have made the 03 team? Horse did. Legend!

Not really comparing like for like. They are all forwards and the forwards Tyrone had then were different gravy.. were they as talented as McGee, Gourley, Horse... certainly were

Horse was CHB on the first team ever to bring Sam to Tyrone. He's a legend for that reason alone. The fact he went on to coach tyrone teams and club teams to titles and finals only makes him more of a legend. Argue you all you want.

To win all these scrappy 'dog fight' games, a team needs character & fight. The Rahilly's and the people of Clonoe, in general, have plenty of it.

Moortown surprisingly had no fight in them when they played Coalisland last year in the relegation playoff, the Rahillys will be ok.

breakingball78

Rahillys could be in danger. Blackass at the wheel.

Easttyrone23

Galbally had a great year resulting in our highest ever league position as well as winning our local derby's vs Donaghmore, Pomeroy and Carrickmore. But the most satisfying result for our players was relegating Coalisland.
There was never any hatred towards Coalisland but their behaviour when they went to Pearse park last season was brutal. As soon as Galbally went 9 or 10 points clear they started throwing fists, caused a serious injury to Fergal mcgarrity and many of their fans threatening both players and fans.

There is no club perfect in Tyrone, but there is a few clubs around the Coalisland area that turn to thuggery when losing a game. Looks like all of them will be playing intermediate next year, the clubs in the Dungannon area are flying the flag for east Tyrone in senior football.

Duine Inteacht Eile

As well as Ardboe, Derrylaughan and one of Clonoe or Moortown of course.
