Hi lads.
Looking for a bit of advice.
Long story short - I'm 47.
Forced to give up contact sports in recent years. Have been doing a small amount of road running over past two years but haven't been consistent with it.

Looking to get into a routine - nothing hectic just a consistent three 5km runs per week every week which I think is achievable.
This type of running is not my forte whatsoever - as a footballer I was all about speed off the mark and short sprints :-)

Anyhow - I have a pair of Nike Pegasus 41's that are now well worn and need replacing.
I was happy with them but I know absolutely nothing about running shoes.
Looking at the Pegasus 42 but see there are other models Pegasus Plus and Pegasus Premiums.
Are the base 42's my best bet here?
I don't mind spending a bit more for the others if they would suit my needs better.
I'm 47 and about 11 stone-ish if that makes any difference.

Brilliant day in Letterkenny yesterday, reminded me so much of Derry in Celtic park in '94.

Thought the team to a man were outstanding, Murdock and Guinness brilliant again but this one was real team effort from Burns in nets to McGeough in corner forward they all rose to the challenge.

The management deserve special praise cos a lot of people gave them stick after the league final, they had a gameplan and it worked to a tee.
Donegal fans round us on the terrace and in the clubhouse after were full of praise for Down and full of praise for Laverty.

Hopefully the support turns out in force next week because this team deserves the county behind them.

Almost certainly a false flag attack. Israel is desperate for Britain to join the war on Iran because they are taking a battering. It's now widely accepted that the attack on Bahrain was a false flag by the USA/israel and also the Diego Garcia attack was a missile from an Israeli submarine. Israel is the kind of terror state which has absolutely no qualms about attacking ambulances as seen throughout the genocide in Gaza.

100% it's a false flag attack, it just so happens the ambulances that were attacked were about to go out of service, now the Jewish community have 4 new shiny ambulances payed for by the taxpayer and more importantly can play the victim card.

How many ambulances have been bombed/attacked by Israel in Lebanon and Iran? That's before you even talk about the Palestinian attacks and most never made the same headlines this is.

For the first 3/4s of the game we played some good stuff, moved the ball well and got a good score up. Another win but again too close for comfort at the end

people that think the Keane challenge is violent conduct and worthy of a 3 game ban are everything that's wrong with modern football.
Whatever it was it certainly wasn't 'violent' which is the offence he was sent off for.
