I have enjoyed the tournament. Do you not think its a case of soccer never being off the TV. The more of it there is the greater chance of boredom with the sport. OK it can be tedious to watch at times but that is the case with all sport I find. When a good match is on its hard to beat and the same can be said for most sports. I think greater reward (champions league places) for winning the fa cup or carling cup would bring more to those competitions and bring better quality football, and reduce the champions league to a straight knock out competition instead of all the tables and then 2 leg knockouts. The same with euro and world cup qualifiers, far to many stupid matches just start the comp with the teams in a knockout type style and progress from there, instead of playing the same team twice and then maybe meeting them again when you actually qualify for the competition. I don't know I think I've gone off the point here, I don't care, too much footie on I think lol

I watched first 3 episodes when c4 had it and then quit, then started it again on Netflix. I found it really good. Martin Freeman is excellent in it.

Warriors bottled it giving up a lead like that, especially after coming back against Okc. Well done Cavs, delighted for them.

The Secret opened with a great episode, the guy that plays the pastor is a great actor and Nesbitt is better in this than alot of his previous roles.

Yes you make alot of fair points but how come the academy has only missed these actors in the past two years? What happened when Sidney Poitier won in the heights of segregation in the sixties? Or when Jamie Fox was nominated twice in the same year he won, he was nominated for 'Collateral' along with 'Ray'. Halle Berry won and rightfully so as well as Cuba Gooding jnr in his year, but have they sustained careers they are proud of? Are they not just average actors? Samuel L Jackson has never won but has sustained a great career as well as Morgan Freeman (who has won), 2 great actors. It's just hard luck I think. Look at great actors like Gary Oldman nominated just once and Alan Rickman never nominated, but no one says anything, if they were black what would happen? 12 years a slave won a few awards 2 years ago and rightfully so, but 10 years ago 'Crash' won over Brokeback Mountain, it seemed the race card was played hard their in effort for the award. But again the academy is racist, when it suits black people, when they win this is a great day for black America. I don't live in the states but if i did I'd be sick listening to this rubbish that black people seem to always want to whinge about when they lose. Have a bit of dignity in no nomination, next year after pressured nominations and Spike Lee will be playing the 'token' black card.

Don't know if a thread has been started on this, but how do people feel about this nonsense. I'm sick of it, average black actors looking for credit when none is due.
