I see Paddy Power have Laois at 4/6 to win the Joe McDonagh with Carlow at evens.

Great to see Picky Maher getting the scoring record. He is in lyting form at the moment and we'll need him big time if we are to get over Carlow. Lets be honest barring a catastrophe we will be in the final.
Yes, it was a big score to concede so they have stuff to work on.
Carlow will be a monumental task but we've improved since the opening game and fingers crossed there are no injuries in the game against London.

Would they really cause a big problem for a double GAA header in Ruislip?

You would think that there will still be roughly the same amount of Laois people travelling whether supporting the footballers or hurlers. They just might not see both games. Would have been a much better crowd if both were on the same day.

Maybe Ruislip itself doesn't have the facilities for a intercounty double header.

Fair play lads. Bit of a problem with your audio on this one. Very low.

Very disappointing result alright. Would we be good enough if we can recover and beat Antrim and maybe meet Carlow again in the final?

Having lost 2 finals in a row it would be hard to take losing a third.

Hopefully there is a response and we get over Antrim and gain a bit of momentum. The underdog tag sits better with us anyhow.

Minor hurlers had a good win over Antrim and they now play Galway in phase 2.

Great for them to qualify out of the group but I assume Galway minors will be too strong for them.

Great win against Offaly and huge to actually get a win in Tullamore. It has been our burial ground more often than not.
Kildare will be a step up though however you'd hope our lads have a bit of confidence going up there but also knowing that there's much to improve on.

Has the makings of a good oul tussle.

Baile Brigin you're just a wum and shit stirrer.

8 pages of your posts on this forum going back to March 13th and not one post about a GAA match, a Gaa club or county.

Why are you bothering to visit a Gaa forum let alone the Laois page.

Your opinion is irrelevant here so head off to where you came from.

Good league for Laois. To go through it unbeaten shows there is quality there and in fairness they never looked like losing a game.

Tommy has managed to try different players and formations and they are improving as a unit. Considering we have been without real leaders through retirements and injuries they've done well. It has given the opportunity for others to take on the leadership role.

It's all about the Joe McDonagh this year though and we really need to win it and get promoted to next years Leinster championship. It would be an disaster for Laois hurling to lose out 3 years in a row and we really need to beat Carlow in the opening game with an impressive performance and lay down a marker for the rest of the championship.

Three derbies next year with Offaly and Kildare being relegated and Carlow promoted.

Minor hurlers out against Kerry in O'Moore Park tomorrow. How are they shaping up this year and is much expected of them?

An unexpected result to say the least. Hard to know where Laois are at considering the bad defeat the Wexford. They do have to finish the league strongly to back up this performance.

If they do that they'll be going into the championship in decent shape.

For what it's worth Knockbeg second years beat Coloiste Eoin in the Leinster final today.

Knockbeg also won the Sth Leinster Junior A final yesterday and the first years are also in a Leinster A final.

Decent Laois representation from the South East of the county on all teams.
