I got the 212 last night at 10:15. There was a bus to Derry and one to Castledawson at the same time. One left for Maghera five minutes earlier. I thought the service was excellent.
We got to Castledawson and the bus headed straight back to Belfast for another load.

Can't see Jacko not being at the helm next year if he wants to be there. He'll probably be there for Kerry's 40th.

I have nothing against the team. It's the media I can't stand. They would be insufferable if England had got through to the final. I had a bad day at work on Wednesday and when they went 1-0 up I was even more sickened but the relief when they lost was unbelievable. I don't care who wins tomorrow either.

City doing us a very small favour with that late goal tonight. A draw will do now against Brentford for Champions League next season.
Still wouldn't be confident we'd even get a draw but at least we don't have to go into the last game having to win.

To possibly pacify my good friend "Screenexiles" indignation, may I clarify that I always agreed with the introduction of the two pointer system to encourage long distance scoring from open play but I disagree with it for a free outside the arc. I think that it is too severe a penalty when the reward for a goal is still only  three points(and Derry got three of them on Saturday after great combination play by several players). We do not want our games to be decided exclusively by two pointers from frees.

Maybe I had my red and white tinted glasses on but I thought the frees for Monaghan's first two pointers in the second half were extremely soft. Did no one else think that was the case?

I was just talking to an old friend. He said he had been past Casement on the bus recently and some work appeared to be going on.

Had a few trips to Munich in my youth. Great times.
Spent a year in London but was working seven days a week so didn't get the good of it at all.
The only plus was that I saved enough for 6 months in New York which was great.

Maybe the reason he didn't show bias towards Galway, was because he was Waterford man  😋

I always had the impression he was a Galway man. His family moved there when he was four. But depending on his upbringing it could explain the non bias alright.

Chelsea 2 psg 8 is probably a better reflection of the quality of the 2 teams than the result in the world cup in the summer. 3 nil to Chelsea in that final.

I was seriously surprised that Chelsea won it. Looks like PSG definitely try harder to win in the Champions League.
