Very strange cause last week when I and other Meath followers complained about referees we got little or no support and now this week everyone is up in arms

The rules state striking or attempting to strike with the arm, elbow, hand or knee is a minimum 4 week suspension to include the next game in said competition. So I want to know is Brian Crowe now rewriting the rules of football or (more likely) the disciplinary commitee (lol) dont want to take a stand and reveal that the referee made a mistake. If he saw the incident O'Leary should have been sent off, if he didnt he should not have been booked. Brian Crowe was sent a copy of the incident and after reviewing it decided he had acted correctly. Does this mean he doesnt know the rules of the game???

Gnevin I think you need to get a life. Not every post on this forum has to be turned into a discussion of 'Arent Dublin great' . The question is about building a new stadium not about how many dublin 'fans' will be there on sunday

what about when Canty kicked Peader Byrne in the lead up to the O'Leary incident. it happened right in front of the linesman

Hurling Discussion / Re: Hurling Management Sim

While I enjoy the challenge of this game there are a few things that are really starting to bug me

1. Is the point of a coach not to run training sessions. It really annoys me to have to adjust the timings for each section of the training session until you are in agreement with the coach.

2. Once you lose a game your confidence drops dramatically and i am finding it hard to reverse this(This could be the challenge of the game) but when you win there is very little increase

3.Irrespective of what style i choose to play I cannot see any change looking through the commentary or stats for the game ie: Playing a passing game you would expect more passes to be attempted than if you are playing a physical game

During the summer of 1989 Meath won every all ireland played in my back garden with winning scores by everyone but my favorite was when McQuillen scored a last minute penalty to beat Cork
