Quote from: Mario on March 14, 2026, 06:45:24 PMNeed a big favour from Tyrone next week. No guarantee Cork will win in Omagh, though Tyrone have nothing to play for.
Surely they'd want to avoid Tailteann Cup? Another loss wouldn't help.
They're safe enough. Probably need to get a win under their belts but relegation not likely.
Assuming Meath are sure to be promoted and assuming wins for Derry and Louth we need Cork to beat Tyrone to leave it down to score difference as Derry would lose out on head to head with just 2 tied on points

You can't buy extra tickets but you can download your own personal ticket
won't let me even download my own personal one.
Says max seat limit reached like I've already bought.
I'll have to chase Ticketmaster.

It's a very unfriendly site. I was getting that message yesterday but if you persist you will be able to download your ticket. You are guaranteed a ticket

Some selections that are living off their fathers names. There's absolutely no way the Downeys deserve to be involved and Tohill might have the physical attributes but football wise is severely lacking

Disgraceful comment on a public board. Its a wonder any young player bothers to give their time and energy to a team with such supporters.

Quote from: JohnDenver on November 13, 2024, 10:42:30 AMCan we actually be sure that this will be it sorted now?

What's the chances of it not being ratified at the county board meeting on Thursday night given the tensions that exist after the Gallagher carry on

I think he was in Owenbeg last night so its sounds legit.
Never mind the players, county board has anyone checked with the morality police around Tyrone,Armagh Cavan etc if this appointment is acceptable to them. Hopefully Tally has no skeletons hidden  away

GAA Discussion / Re: UTV & BBC

A couple of weeks ago I was on holiday in Spain and was able  to get BBC channels including BBC NI
I made a point of watching on the Friday evening before the Derry/Dublin match.  There would be a major feature on this important game, 82000 sell out crowd etc.The major feature was Jerome Quinn in Monaghan with a Derry and a Dublin boxer and he threw the ball up between them.  It was embarrassingly pathetic

Yes Crowe did well. I like him as a referee He is consistent and uses common sense.  One small point - there seemed to be quite a few throws which were not penalised.  Surely it is not possible to handpass legally with one hand. I am beginning to think im wrong as commentators never mention it
