They wouldn't pass vetting anyway
Been round many clubs in the North?
Exactly. I know 2 off the top of my head took Senior football teams having served life sentences in the kesh.
I know a few more who managed senior intercounty teams who served time in jail also
You dont have to complete Vetting to manage Senior teams it is only when working with Juveniles.

Quote from: thewobbler on January 30, 2026, 11:25:44 AMRecreational GAA for kids?
Good luck to whoever is put in charge of defining the line between a recreational player and a non-recreational player.
Quote from: Armagh18 on January 30, 2026, 10:08:40 AMAre those other companies directly funding the genocide like Allianz are? Surely boycotting one complicit company is better than none? If we can all do a small bit it would soon add up.So it is just an easy target.
Quote from: Shamrock Shore on January 26, 2026, 01:03:28 PMBig kick in the balls for Cavan.Seems like defeat from jaws of victory.
BTW - why am I seeing things on Tik Tok over one of their players?
Quote from: Rossfan on December 16, 2025, 09:23:02 AMIts a fixture not a rule.
Ulster team v Connacht team should mean a Leinster venue with a Leinster or Munster Ref.
Quote from: AustinPowers on November 08, 2025, 11:58:37 PMDaylight is fading but not dark yet. The floodlights fail. Does the ref stop the play?
I remember the Wimbledon final when Federrer complained about the fading light.
So, at what point (don't say "deuce") does it become acceptable to stop or let play continue?
PS. I could see where something like this could be cynically used to a home teams advantage .

You never know but maybe all white poppies could become a thing for the far right racists?Quote from: AustinPowers on October 27, 2025, 11:53:26 AMQuote from: tonto1888 on October 27, 2025, 11:49:50 AMQuote from: imtommygunn on October 27, 2025, 11:23:52 AMWas it always a thing that you were picked on if you didn't wear one or was this a thing the media decided to create?
The poppy thing is just something that seems to have grown more legs over the years for whatever reason. If it was like that from the start fair enough but I don't think it has been. (In England / Scotland / Wales I mean)
I lived in England from 2004-2017 and it definitely got progressively worse as time went by. I wore a white poppy one year and got some totally disgusted looks
What's the white one for?

Election didn't go as planned , capitalising on the pressure on MM, and trying to butter up the voters . They are seeing what way the feeling is growing re: immigration, and it's juat sound bites to make it look like we're going to do something about it. When in reality , they'll do absolutely nothing.
its all smoke and mirrors. More fool those who believe the slimey p***k
To what end, is it in their interests to do nothing? What do they gain from doing nothing in the current climate?

The only thing I asked was how did it take so long to call it or what reason would there be and suddenly people are getting upset over it. It was an obvious breach and I still haven't been given an answer. If you can't answer that's fine. No need to attack people over a question mate
