Great that we're through to the Joe mcdonagh final. I thought today the decision making was poor and the keeper should learn from today as he gave away 2/3 balls that ended up on the Carlow men's hand great save though at one stage in the match. I'm not quite sure what happend against Kildare I think the lads thought it be a walkover but I do think we will beat them in Croker we have a lot of experience lads who played in Croker a few times with Laois down the years. I hope to see dunphy starting at least or on the 65s he doesn't miss much. We need to start off quick against Kildare and get 1/2 goals early in the match. I think the width will kill Kildare. Another note well done to Keyes scoring 14 points. We need our forwards to score more. Be interesting what the bookies give Laois against Kildare.

Didn't watch the game butch but pretty scary conceding 2-21 to limerick I think it may be a tough year for us in div 3 and I think we be lucky to beat Leitrim in the first league game

Hard luck to Laois they came very close to Dublin. No dig at cheddar here but we've never beaten a team in the league or championship that are so called the top 9 came close a few times like Galway or Dublin bet cheddar can never seem to get over the line and beat a big team he's there for so long now. Eddie Brennan took 2 years to beat a big team (Dublin).

Will Sean Moore from ballyfin be on the panel this year ? He's probably the best forward we have in Laois and he never is on the panel anybody know why ? He played one game I seen him alright come on against Meath in the o'byrne cup near the end in stradbally a few years back.

Will mark Kavanagh be on the panel this year ? He was great the year we won mcdonagh cup

The best player in the county is probably Sean Moore for ballyfin can someone please explain why isn't on the senior team? I've been asking this now for the last 3 years and still nothing. I think maybe he doesn't want to commit.
