All sold out in about 20 minutes or so. 4000 in the queue ahead of me. Tickets were going as quick as I could click on them and add them to the basket.

Tickets should be on sale today at midday but the website is saying something different. Was looking OK yesterday.

Ashbourne-Donaghmore vs Wolfe Tones in the Meath Senior Final.

Rathoath and Summerhill both knocked out in the semis who were most people's tip for the final.

Menton leading the way for Ash-Don. Caolan Ward shows it runs in the family for Tones. Hoping to replicate the success that Cian Ward had for the club.

Hello. I am one of the diaspora and I am saying it's bloody expensive.

I want to take my kids to see this and hopefully get a chance to see Clifford, Kobe and Sam and all that.

Travelling to London whether by train or driving with the air pollution charges is very expensive.

The drinks and food will no doubt be premium prices for garbage. All in it's a very expensive day out.

I don't see why this needs to be more expensive than a league game honestly. Perhaps it's the renting of the stadium.

Wonder will Kobe be there. Are the Aussie Rules back in full swing in November?

QuoteMayo and Kerry will meet again in London this November, with the counties announcing an exhibition game at StoneX Stadium following their All-Ireland final encounter.

The Mayo Kerry Global Series, presented by JRL Group, will take place on Saturday, November 28th, 2026, after receiving approval from GAA Central Council.

For Mayo, the trip will mark their first appearance since winning this year's All-Ireland title, with the team facing Kerry once again in front of supporters in the English capital.

Mayo's announcement describes the fixture as their return to action following that historic victory, giving fans based in Britain an opportunity to see the champions in person.

Tickets will start at £40 for standing admission, while seated tickets are listed at £50, £60 and £75.

I was excited about this and would bring the family but seeing the tickets they are bit steep for a friendly on a small pitch  :o

Something to keep in mind when you see political shifts in Europe in the months and years to come.

QuoteMossad Should Cultivate Strategic Partners Among Europe's Right-Wing Separatist Movements

To counter this leftish groundswell, Israel should begin outreach to conservative factions among regional pro-independence groups in Europe.

Like Catalonia's right-wing Zionist-influenced movement, separatist elements in Spain's Basque Country and Galicia, as well as in Scotland and Wales, also may help build Israel's newest European alliances.

The Jewish state's external intelligence agency, Mossad, has a special division, Tevel, that handles liaison operations with non-state entities. This division, which has developed networks worldwide to serve Israel's interests, has the workforce and technical resources to establish and maintain relationships with right-wing, European, pro-independence movements.

Its work in building underground structures, combined with expertise in countering radical Islamism and transferring know-how, makes Tevel the only entity in Israel fit to serve as the vanguard in building relationships with the pro-freedom entities.

At the same time, the Emerging Sovereign Partners Cell could develop training programs to help build the movements' own military structures: professionalized, volunteer army units, combined with technology to amplify their combat power, such as cyber defenses, drone-based reconnaissance and attack, and layered air defense, initially tailored to small populations using Jerusalem's experience with hybrid wars.

That's why it's such a litmus test for any nascent political party looking for your support, whether left or right, is their stance on Israel.

A lot of the anti-jihad movements in the last 25 years or so had a lot of Israeli/Zionist backing.

The fact that training and arming separatist movements in Europe is being even discussed is quite a troubling development.

Quote from: DaleCooper on September 09, 2026, 04:01:39 PMIf youre agin it you are backwards. Are you not for progress?

That's the kind of nuanced thinking that always helps in these situations.

If its genuinely going to work for the benefit of the games then I'm fine with it. I just can see it becoming a bit of mess and in the long run having a stultifying effect on the combined organisation as a whole.

I know there are issues with all of the bodies involved that deserve addressing but it's question of how best to go about that and I'm not sure if this is actually the way.

It would helpful if the media could actually report on what the actual stumbling blocks are as opposed to rolling out cheap headlines about 'misogyny'. The GAA on its own struggles get its various parts to function in unison (club / county for example) so integrating 2 new sporting bodies which will only add to the complications already faced by the association is a monumental task. I find just putting it all down to misogyny is just a cheap way of generating clicks and deflecting blame.

The 3 organisations involved could get this very wrong and get whole thing off on a very bad footing. They are all responsible for getting it right. Even at the most optimistic outlook someone is going to lose out somewhere to get this off the ground and it won't be the lads and ladies at the top of the game anyway.

Best way to stave off the AFL is if we all switch to hurling.

I'm not even surprised or annoyed. I could see that coming even towards the end of the first half you could see our legs starting to tire.

When teams let us play we're the Harlem Globetrotters but as soon as they start pressing on us like Westmeath, Cork second half and today second half again we gradually fall apart. We held on for slightly longer than the Cork game and managed a couple of score and created a few chances that gave me some hope but we just started making poor decisions in possession that gave Mayo too many chances to counter attack.

Don't know if it's fitness or what is lacking. Subbing McBride and Flynn at the same time for Jones who is only back from a long term injury and O'Connor who is only a few appearances under his belt, was a bizarre decision. Surely stagger those changes and see how it goes with one.

Sean Brennan needs to work on his composure for pressure kicks. He's rushed a few when games have in the balance and did it again today.

We actually looked alright in defence today for the most part. Midfield more at fault and our forwards lacking composure when the pressure was on.

Ciaran Caulfield worked hard as ever but really needs to work on taking scores and goals. He's in good positions so often but either looks to hand it off or spurns goal chances.

Ultimately when Mayo put the pressure on Costello, Morris, Conlon, Frayne, O'Connor and Coffey were all found wanting in the physical stakes and composure.

As for the red card, I'd have to see it again but it looked completely innocuous if you ask me. But you just have to deal with these things and we still had enough chances to reel it back in and we failed to do that.

Not sure how you remedy these deficiencies in the team for next year but we need a bit more steel and physical strength at the core of the team.

Happy with that performance. Feels like we haven't used the wind. Need to stamp our authority on the second Half or it's going to be another Cork disaster

Mayo are Sh!te

They better not try and start any fights they can't win!

#14
Survived that one. Big second half. Derry got nothing off their bench. Thought we'd concede another goal before the end.

Keoghan was immense
McBride was immense
Conlon was immense
Morris given he was not 100% was brilliant in the second half

Menton, Costello, Caulfield honarable mentions.

Frayne - I still don't know how he's captain. Apart from recycling the ball and slowing the game down and kick frees what does he do.

The lads that needed to stepped up in the second half.

Ciaran Caulfield could shoot he'd be the best player in Ireland
