As far as I'm aware if the ref can't definitely see the separation then it's a foul, end of story. Bringing in an ammount only creates a potentially gray area. If the separation can't be seen then blow the whistle. I'm not sure why refs have made this rod for their own backs to be honest.
Another issue is refs blowing when the ball is stuck in a ruck only to throw the ball into another ruck straight away.

Great atmosphere at the Camross Harps match but seemed very few stayed for the second one. Camross had experience all over and Harps just didn't.
R/E just had enough to get past Ballinakill but neither were hugely impressive.

Clough Ballacolla will be hard to beat again this year. They had so many lads in with the county that the league is irrelevant really. Their age profile is pretty good too and I fear they could dominate for a few years yet.
