Quote from: Wildweasel74 on January 14, 2026, 08:33:09 PMDerry going to come out this half.

Don't look like it. This second half has been a shitshow since McAteers point.

We can't hold onto our own ball from the kickout which is not a new issue you'd think we'd have some set plays down at this stage.

Well contested game so far but yeah Donegal are trying to get contact with our lads whether the ball is there or not.

Not really sure what McGee as at in the corner with McKinless that time!

Quote from: marty34 on January 12, 2026, 07:17:45 AMWill Derry's football and hurling league games be in Owenbeg or Celtic Park?

Football is Celtic park anyway

Hurling is all CP as well.

I imagine Owenbeg is in bad shape if the MacRory game wasn't fit to go ahead on it yesterday.

Switched over after the Derry game. That was as good a half of football as I've ever seen from Leeds and Newcastle great stuff altogether!

Quote from: Brendan on January 06, 2026, 01:48:23 PMQuare insist to the people who created Stranger things that the fan base is convinced theres another episode coming because the finale was so terrible... glad I never made it past the first series now

I've yet to meet anyone who's totally happy with the finish of any big series.

I don't think the ending was great but as an overall series I thought it was fantastic!!

How we're not getting beat by 30 points is a miracle... we've been absolutely destroyed!

I don't know enough about it to implement it in a serious way in work.

I use it from time to time to draft things or give me an overview of some new legislation that's coming down the line but I can't trust it for much more yet. We had a company in and they weren't able to tell us in plain terms what process AI could replace and then how much money it would save in the long term.

It's still very new and I think it will gather pace and be able to manage some jobs but I can't see it taking over in the next year or 2. The other problem is where do you start? I get bombarded by reels from different AI companies offering to do different things and all charging so who should you use? If I use them for work processes how is the data protected?

I'm still very skeptical... is there anyone on here working in it or knows how to implement it into a traditional business?

Finished All Her Fault.

It's a bit too much but good watching along with herself. Definitely worth a go!

Quote from: screenexile on November 01, 2025, 01:31:44 PMWhat do we make of the "lodged ball" call??

Sets it up for a huge game tonight now!

It was absolutely the correct call.

Incredible Game 7 to win an incredible series.

Didn't get to stay up for it but sounds like it was a barnstormer and there was very little in it.

I only get interested in the American sports when Toronto do well so a bit gutted for them. They're desperate for a baseball or hockey win!

Best stout in Ballinascreen is the Shepherds Rest. The fire is always on and there's no WiFi and no reception. Great place to get lost for a few hours 😉. Regans in the town is a close second.

The Flax in Magherafelt.

Belfast for me is Kelly's Cellars.

Dublin is Mulligans.

Moville is the Corner Bar.

Greencastle is the golf club.
