Backed it straight :-[, that was probably the race it was set up for as well, last time it won it was out again within days with a 5lb penalty but was beaten into second if I remember correctly. Could be worth watching out for if racing with similar shite horses again.

Maddog these are seasonal tips and nothing else.

Christmas Truce in 3.00 at Linfield must be a seasonal tip at this time of year and
for the hurling fans

I've followed this nag for a while(after seeing his jockey pull the head of it and get it beaten on purpose), I did of course not back it when it skated in at 50/1? a while later :-[.  It ran on saturday(badly), but I think it is a coup waiting to happen and today could be the day.

Richards.  I've heard them going on about their hols in Mayo every year all right, are you anything to do with the B&B/Lodge place they stay?

Saw a Bin man in Warrenpoint walk past an upended wheelie bin on his lifting route, which struck me as extremely petty and wasteful, as a phonecall of complaint from the owner will get it lifted that same afternoon anyway >:(

Toal was one of those players that you(me anyway) never appreciated when he was slogging his guts out,his loss has been sorely felt since his injury, Loughran is a big Ginny.  We still need a MF, Nippy is still too light, is Lavery from Maghery departed? he has always looked good IMO.

Will you be showing the 'All in the Game' programme about the Road Bowls again? I watched it and taped it for one of the people on the show, another fella who was on it missed it and I would like to tape it again for him.

It is very enjoyable.  Paying a few quid for decent prizes would be an idea.

Still waiting on my prize from Pride.ie from my 2005 champo victory (or was it 2004 ;D)

Good win for the Ogs yesterday against a strong and spirited St Johns side who failed to make the most of the wind in the second half mainly due to some excellent defending from the Ogs. I heard the draw for the semis has already been made with the Ogs Vs Dromintee and the Harps Vs Cross does anyone know if this is true?
Cross still have to play Silverbridge in the quarter, dont know if semi pairings have been made.

Armagh / Harps v Whitecross U21's
December 10, 2006, 08:14:42 PM
Harps had a good win over a talented yet dirty as f**k whitecross, Vernon and Swift were obviously targeted from the get-go and both received some heavy-handed treatment and little or no protection from the ref.  The game itself wasn't bad considering the woeful conditions, Whitecross played with the wind in the first half and took a few good scores yet they needed a fortuitous goal to go in level at 1-3 to 0-6 at the half. Harps looked a far classier side in the second half with the wind behind them they took some good scores from Chink Ward, Nippy, Kevin Kelly, Joe Quigley(inc a penalty) and Deckie Coulter. Good performance from the Harps and they kept their discipline well. Whitecross had good performers in their MF, CHB and CHF.

I'd take Clones anyday over Casement and Croke Park(for UF), the roads are a nightmare at times but to be honest I tend to miss most of it by staying for a few after the game or by haring it down to the motor straight after the game.

The Maze may offer a spanking new stadium but it will be a sterile environment in the middle of an area not overly fond of the GAA  ;)
