Derry Benny
Thought so with O'Kane and Donaghy to the fore in your reading of the Queens game on the sigerson thread.

Defintley wouldn't have Gormley in the overrated section.  He seems to have returned from injury in super thug mode mind you.

Vernan had a decent game yesterday but queens had 4 or 5 better players on the day.

Only going by the Irish News, what county are you from Aristo?

GAA Discussion / Galway v Armagh

Armagh team for sunday:
Armagh: C McKinney, A Mallon, E McNulty, F Moriarty, P McCreesh, C McKeever, T McClelland, G Swift, C Vernon, P Toal, J Lavery, M O'Rourke, S McDonnell, P Keenan, M O'Rourke. Subs: P Rodgers, B Donaghy, K Dyas, M Ferris, P Forker, S Forker,G McCreesh, JP Donnelly, K McGeeney, P McGrane, K Toner.

Glad to see Nippy & Charlie getting another chance in Mf, it didn't happen for them the last time out against Louth.  Vernon was MOTM for Queens yesterday against UCD by the sounds of it, scoring 0-3 from MF, so he can clearly play the position.

1.30 throw in.

Congrats to Cross, they really are something special.  I heard as well that 4 or 5 of the team played with the 'bug', john McEntee being one of them - who had a fantastic game.

Have to mention the performance os Stephen Kernan, he was shocking, I've been one of very few who's being giving him the benefit of the doubt, but maybe he's jsut not going to make it.

Water Rates are based on the value of your home, your present bill is on a 2005 assessment of the value of your house, When the water rates are reassessed in 2010, with the current ridiculous increase in house prices, there'll be fun :-\ Non-payment is the way to go, but it'll fail.

What I experienced was not personal abuse, it was criticism.  Personal abuse is unacceptable, but criticism isn't, that's my point.

Outrageous behaviour from the tangerine men.. to claim personal abuse isnt personal is almost as bad as the initial offences.

Yer hole.  Personal abuse is directed at you because of who you are not your actions.  Any abuse I heard directed at him was because he was not passing, shooting wides or dropping balls short anyone else in the same boat would have got similar criticism.

He took a lot of abuse on Sunday which was mostly beacuse of his shooting and lack of passing.  I don't think any of it is personal, does he think he should be exempt from criticism anyway?  And I doubt very much whether there are too many calling for him to be dropped :o I've heard a few people hear saying he should be rested.

What's the story with McGrane? he was fit enough to play out in Dubai.

Didn't get yesterday but I wasn't suprised at the result, like Mr Fearon I thought it could've been worse.  Big Joe was obviously pissed off big time from reading the Irish News report, he read Lavery from the pulpit for getting injured midweek in club training and I assume it was Martin O'Rourke he was getting at with the simple mistakes jibes.

The Difference experience makes was clearly illustrated at CP on Saturday night.
